Online Summer School
Our online private school is setting up the ability to attend online summer school for students in grades 5 – 12. We are offering courses for credit or as ‘workshops’ for those who are looking for course enrichment.
All of our online students meet one-on-one, synchronously, with their teachers. This means that your student is getting the best possible education from the comfort of being online! On top of this, we have a number of online only group classes where students can meet and interact with other Tenney School Live students! This makes it a great supplement to a homeschool program.
How Our Program Works With You
At our online private school, we offer flexible enrollment options that cater to your individual needs. Whether your looking to complete a years worth of credit for a class or are just looking to take a summer club/workshop we have you covered! In general, our online summer school offers ‘for credit’ classes in 3 week ‘semesters’. You must schedule 3 weeks for a credit class in order to gain the semester’s worth of credit. Workshops allow you to schedule as many weeks as you wish.
Each of our teachers are highly qualified and experienced private school educators who excel in providing personalized one-to-one learning experiences tailored to meet each student’s individual needs.
How It Works
Accredited Online High School
Tenney School Live is accredited through Cognia. The accreditation was done through Tenney School Live’s parent school: The Tenney School. Our online program uses the exact same courses and teachers as our in person school.

Individualized Online Classes
At Tenney School Live, we believe in a flexible online homeschooling experience built just for you! That’s why we allow students to use their own devices for online classes. However, to ensure the best learning experience, each student will also receive a document camera and a Chromebook if they don’t have a preferred device. Plus, each student will be given a tenneyschool.com Office 365 account, which provides access to a suite of powerful tools. To top it off, our one-to-one teachers are easily accessible on Microsoft Teams or Zoom, making it easy to get personalized attention!

Required Resources
Staff
Tenney School Live students take lessons from the same high-quality staff delivering face-to-face instruction on campus at The Tenney School.
Device
Students will need a device to use for lessons. Students who don’t have a device will be issued a Chromebook by The Tenney School.
Internet Access
It is important Tenney School Live students have a reliable internet connection for the video lesson to have maximum effectiveness.
Textbooks
Students will be supplied a set of textbooks from The Tenney School based on individual course enrollment.
Office365
All students will be provided a Tenney School Office365 account to have access to the entire suite of office tools (including Microsoft Teams-our primary classroom for online learning).
Google Account
Students using the school issued Chromebooks will also be assigned a google account.
